I was on a painting holiday in the southern part of the Flinders Ranges with a group of my artist friends, when I was going for an afternoon walk on my own.
I lingered on a hill for a while sitting under a tree and drinking in the view. On my way back the sun was just about to disappear behind the ranges, flooding the landscape with light, as if it was poured from the mountaintop and running down in all directions.
A beautiful end to my walk.
