Every morning I walk along this path lined with pecan trees.
Naturally they present themselves differently with every season throughout the year. In spring you have the fresh new green and hear the bees humming as they feed on the blossoms. You can sit or walk under the cool shade of their lush canopy in summer, and in autumn watch swarms of cockatoos cracking the nuts to the sound of contented chatter.
The painting is of wintertime, bare of leaves, misty crisp mornings and the mournful calls of crows.
